Project Overview

Designing Light Retreat has been a rewarding process rooted in texture, pattern, and soulful comfort. This upstate New York home was envisioned as a space where modern design meets warmth, creating a retreat that feels both elevated and inviting.

The design approach focused on balance. Cozy elements were paired with clean lines, while earthy tones were layered with bold, jewel-inspired accents. Each decision was made with intention, ensuring the space feels livable, memorable, and well-suited for future short-term stays.

Design Intent

This project was developed in collaboration with Wayfair Professional to refine key design elements and streamline sourcing. This partnership allowed for thoughtful material selection and a cohesive visual story, ensuring every space works together seamlessly.

From statement wallpapers to deep navy tones and layered textures, the goal was to create rooms that feel intentional and rich with character. As installation begins, the focus shifts from concept to execution, bringing the design vision fully to life.
